Education for the community

With the social enterprise Project You, DMU ran a three-day workshop for more than 60 Grade 8–9 pupils from Al Salam Community School on AI in emergency triage, with a mock emergency simulation.

School pupils at Project Nightingale

DMU also hosted school visits and open days across 2025 and took its programmes to AETEX (Ajman) and Najah Expo (Dubai World Trade Centre). Library resources are open to students and staff under the Learning Resource Center policy (F.1).

Teaching quality and integrity

DMU adopted an AI Usage policy (C.7) and presented its AI Integration Framework at Abu Dhabi University's roundtable with the Digital Education Council (November 2025). Its College of Medicine received an Advance HE award for supporting fellowship, and DMU won an Advance HE Global Impact Grant for AI-powered medical education.
