Responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in public health, epidemiology, global health, and research methodology.
- Contribute to curriculum development and innovation, particularly in global health, digital public health, and disaster preparedness.
- Conduct high-quality research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
- Supervise student research projects and postgraduate theses.
- Participate in interdisciplinary initiatives related to global health challenges, disaster response, and national health preparedness.
- Contribute to academic service, program development, and institutional initiatives.
Qualifications & experience
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- PhD in Public Health from a reputable university.
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Global Public Health
- Digital Public Health
- Disaster Medicine and Emergency Preparedness
- National Health Security and Preparedness
- Public Health Informatics or data-driven population health
- Strong record of peer-reviewed publications.
- Experience teaching public health, epidemiology, or research methodology in medical or health sciences programs.
- Preference will be given to candidates with international research collaborations, experience in digital health systems, or a record of securing research funding.
